Like Briana, I haven’t see The Newsroom yet - watching TV HBO when it actually airs is for poor people and sooo 2002 - but I already know this much is true: 1) The Newsroom will contain more references to Man of La Mancha than grown people who aren’t helping out at a high school theatre production should have to endure. 2) Socially liberal Republicans have never figured, prominently or otherwise, in my fast-talking and walking left-wing TV fantasies. Ditto for Jeff Daniels. (Josh Charles, Peter Krause and the actor Stacy calls “Do-Me” Hill? Check, check and CHECK.)  3) Olivia Munn?? Someone’s uncle at HBO made that decision, didn’t they?
